Our Integrated Operations
Palm Oil Plantation Estates
Aumkar owns and operates 8000 hectares of land fully planted with oil palm. The land bank is located 2 hours north of Tawau Airport towards the areas of Kalumpang, Kpg Sapang and Tingkayu. The average age profile of our trees is 12 years.
Palm Kernels
Aumkar’s 45MT/h palm oil mill produces 700MT of palm kernels per month. Our specifications meet FFA @ 5% maximum, Dirt & Shell @ 6% basis and moisture between 7% and 10% maximum.
Teak Wood Plantations
Aumkar maintains a small acerage of Teak Wood plantations and has on average between 500 and 1000 logs for sale annually.
Crude Palm Oil
Aumkar’s 45MT/h palm oil mill produces 3200MT of crude palm oil per month. Specifications as per PORAM Standards.
Coconut Plantations
Aumkar operates over 100 acres of land planted with coconuts. Aumkar produces around 1000 nuts per month which are available for sale.
Palm Organic Compost
Aumkar’s 1.6 hectare organic fertiliser plant produces 500MT of organic compost per month. The compost is derived from palm empty bunch fibre, decanter solids and boiler ash. The raw materials are composted traditionally over 12 weeks including 8 weeks of wet composting, 4 weeks of dry turning and finished by drying using boiler flue gas. Our specifications include moisture below 25%, C/N ratio below 15, K content above 5% on dry basis.

Bi-Product Recycling
Aumkar is committed to recycling 100% of the by-products produced from its operations. Our processes include stacking cut palm fronds neatly to allow optimised decay and addition to organic matter to the soil, where our palm trees are replanted, chipping and stacking the oil palm trunks neatly to add to soil fertility.
100% recycling of all solid waste from palm oil processing to manufacture high quality organic compost with C/N ratio below 15. Tapping the maximum biogas potential from palm oil mill effluent to operate a 1MW gas engine to supply and supplement factory power and distribute power to our palm oil estates.
In doing so almost all diesel generators have ceased operating. Lastly upgrading biogas to bio-methane to power trucks to deliver crude palm oil, palm kernels, palm kernel shells, and fresh fruit bunches.
