Candidate Must Be:
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 10 years (s) of working experience in a related field required for this position in running an oil palm plantation and is familiar with the field operational management required for this position.
- Required Skill(s): Good people management, communication, and report writing skills.
- Willing to work and live in a plantation environment.
- Experienced with oil palm agriculture
- Working Location: Sabah
- Preferably Managers specialising in Estate Operations or equivalent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and managing the overall operation of the oil palm plantation and plan for future development.
- Capable of reviewing and interpreting reports for effective monitoring.
- Ensure estates SOP’s are implemented strictly for consistent and quality operations
- Responsible on day to day estate operations, both in the field & office
- Planning, organizing, directing, and running optimum daily operations.
- To take control of all phases and aspects of estate operation, including land development, cost management, worker management, planting practices and procedures, system and method, and fresh fruit bunches (FFB) production.
- Supervising oil palm tree planting, field maintenance, and nursery management.
- Ensure that the estate is managed to the standard in accordance with acceptable agriculture and practice and the company’s requirement.
- Modernization of the estate work practices, including awareness of the requirements of MSPO
- Follow up with respective departments/estates for updates and outstanding actions.
- React to information/ discrepancies and highlight to Management consistently.
- Analyze results and trends and takes appropriate actions to resolve/address the issue.
